Sam Kahn, a recent graduate of Yale University, was a staff reporter for the Yale Daily News, editor of the Yale Critic and columnist for the Yale Herald. His reporting focuses on Central Asia, where he first traveled in 2006 on an academic fellowship to study Manas. His writing has appeared in the Weekly Standard and the Times of Central Asia and he has received on-air credits for work with "60 Minutes."
