Paul Armour

Paul Armour is Mercy Corps’ Niger country director, managing all Niger programs for the agency. He previously held country director positions in Liberia and Sri Lanka. Prior to joining Mercy Corps, Armour held leadership positions for Catholic Relief Services in Guinea, Indonesia, Niger and Ghana. He also worked with the International Rescue Committee in Kenya and Azerbaijan.

 Armour holds a master’s from the University of Pittsburgh's Graduate School of Public and International Affairs and bachelor’s from the American University of Paris.

In addition, Mercy Corps strives to increase economic opportunities for women and vulnerable households by supporting farmers and small businesses. In recent months, Mercy Corps has started distributing food and vouchers to address the needs of families during Niger’s lean season.
