Daniel Alarcón is co-founder and Executive Producer of Radio Ambulante. An award-winning journalist and novelist, his books include War by Candlelight, a finalist for the 2005 PEN-Hemingway Award, and Lost City Radio, which was named a Best Novel of the Year by the San Francisco Chronicle and the Washington Post. In 2009, he won the International Literature Award, and in 2010 The New Yorker named him one of the best 20 Writers Under 40, and his most recent novel, At Night We Walk in Circles, was a finalist for the 2014 PEN/Faulkner Award. He has served as Associate Editor of the Peruvian magazine Etiqueta Negra since 2004.
