Alecia Orsini is an award-winning multi-media professional with 18 years of experience in the film and radio industries. She has been a part of the GBH family since 2012, when she worked for WCAI on Cape Cod, and currently fills in as on-air talent for GBH’s nightside news. Alecia is also a freelance Audio Engineer for the PRX show The World.
Aside from radio, she is a prominent voice in the region’s film community and served as the President of Women in Film and Video of New England for six years. She has worked on several projects, including “High Tide,” out in theaters for limited release.
She is also a voice-over artist and volunteers at Perkins School for the Blind, can drive a stick shift, and is the proud mother to two young, rambunctious boys.
