When Mohammad Salman Hamdani heard about the terrorist attacks on 9/11, the NYPD cadet and trained paramedic rushed to Ground Zero to help out. He died in the wreckage. But because he wasn’t yet an NYPD officer, he’s been left off the list of first responders who died in the attack.
