Mikhail Kalashnikov, has died at 94, with ‘no regrets’

The father of the modern assault rifle, Mikhail Kalashnikov, has died, aged 94. His AK-47 was so simple and so universal, that he was arguably one of the most influential people of the 20th century. His weapon may have killed more people than any other. But he said he had no regrets.
