The Spiral Jetty Reemerges

Robert Smithson’s monumental earthwork the Spiral Jetty usually lies beneath ten feet of water in the Great Salt Lake. This summer, a drought in Utah lowered water levels in the lake, and the jetty reemerged for the first time since the mid-nineties. Producer Eric Fredericksen looks into the history and possible fate of the Spiral Jetty.
