Historian, novelist and critic Marina Warner, whose recent books Six Myths of Our Time (1994) and No Go the Bogeyman:On Scaring, Lulling, and Making Mock (1998) explore the role of myth in contemporary culture. Warner is a visiting professor at Birkbeck College, London and Stanford University, and her new novel, The Leto Bundle, will be published next spring.
