Last Call for the Great Studio 360 Doodle Dare

We teamed up with cartoonist and winner of the MacArthur Fellowship (a.k.a. the “genius” grant) Alison Bechdel for our latest Extra Credit challenge, The Great Studio 360 Doodle Dare. We asked you to finish a drawing started by Bechdel — in any style you want, with any materials you want. Time is running out!

The deadline to submit your work is Monday, November 10 at 11:59pm ET.

This week, we called up a couple of artists and asked them about their submissions:

Aimee found inspiration in her cat Luna, who has an unrequited love for Aimee’s other cat, Jarvis. “She gets frustrated with him because he’s not very nice to her, so she gives him these kind of death stares.”

John’s doodle is a cautionary tale for skateboarders: “In the bottom of the swimming pool I put a skateboard and that was to show that she shouldn’t be skateboarding in an off-season swimming pool because sometimes it’s hard to get out.”
