Ultra-Orthodox children protest universal draft law (PHOTOS)

On Wednesday, Israel's defense minister Ehud Barak ordered the army to prepare for a universal draft, which would include ultra-Orthodox Jewish men and Arab Israelis.

The Tal Law, which exempted ultra-Orthodox Jews from mandatory military service, was declared unconstitutional by the High Court in February, and expired in August.

Ultra-Orthodox Jewish children protested against the uniform draft law on July 16, 2012, in Jerusalem, Israel.
