Last Twinkies shipment arrives in Chicago
Shoppers are buying up every last box of Hostess brand snack cakes after the company announced it was going out of business.
Twinkiegeddon is truly upon us, as Hostess confirmed the last shipment of the Hostess snack cakes arrived in Chicago Monday.
The final 20,000 boxes of Twinkies, Ding-Dongs and other Hostess products will be sold at select Jewel-Osco supermarkets in the Windy City, according to a company statement released Monday night.

"This is a one time, one shot basis," Jewel-Osco spokeswoman Karen May told the NBC affiliate in Chicago.
Twinkies and other Hostess snacks flew off the shelves last month after the 82-year-old company announced it was going out of business over a labor dispute.
