NEW YORK – The nanny accused of stabbing to death two children in her care appeared in the Manhattan Supreme Court for the first time since the tragedy.
Yoselyn Ortega, 50, looked pale and did not speak during the brief hearing, ABC News reported.
The 50-year-old is charged with murdering Lucia and Leo Krim at their luxury Upper West Side apartment on October 25.
It is alleged Ortega stabbed 6-year-old Lucia and her 2-year-old brother while the children's mother, Marina, was out with a third child.
The three were found in the bathroom of the apartment by Marina.
The hearing was adjourned Friday after a few minutes when the judge was told none of Ortega's psychiatric examinations had been completed, including an assessment that had been requested by her defense team, the New York Daily News reported.

On the day of the alleged murders, Ortega was supposed to meet Marina Krim at a dance studio but when she did not show up, Krim returned home to her Upper West side apartment where she was confronted with the horrifying scene.
Ortega will return to court on April 5.
