Is Kate Middleton pregnant?

GlobalPost

There is a flurry of speculation among royal watchers that Kate Middleton could be pregnant after she toasted a state banquet in Singapore with a glass of water.

The Daily Beast reported that while William, 30, and others raised glasses of wine to toast the country’s Queen, Kate, twice politely declined and chose water instead.

Pregnancy rumors emerged in April, and were further fuelled when Kate refused to sample a bite of peanut paste as she and Prince William visited a United Nations aid depot in Copenhagen.

“Things like this, people do look at them and wonder if they are signs,” Victoria Murphy, royal correspondent for UK’s The Mirror, told ABC News.

“People are whispering and going on, “Is she pregnant? Is she pregnant?”

The New York Daily News said Kate also showed what may be a hint of a baby bump in a floral shift designed by the Singapore-born designer, Prabal Gurung, during a seven-course meal at the Singaporean president's official residence.

Prince William has further fuelled the baby rumors by telling a little boy today that he would like two children.

According to Glamour magazine, Corine Ackermann was with the schoolfriends from the Tanglin Trust British School and told reporters: "Someone asked him how many children he would like to have, and he said he was thinking about having two."

The royal couple is currently travelling through the South Pacific as part of their Diamond Jubilee tour.
