Software tycoon John McAfee has been deported from Guatemala, six days after he was arrested for entering the country illegally.

The Associated Press reported the 67-year-old, who is wanted for questioning over the murder of his neighbor in Belize, arrived in the US on a commercial flight on Wednesday night.

Upon landing at Miami International Airport, he was escorted by federal officials through customs and then took a taxi to a hotel in the trendy South Beach area, McAfee wrote on his blog.

"I have no phone, no money, no contact information," the post read.

McAfee told ABC News that Guatemalan authorities "took me out of my cell and put me on a freaking airplane."

"I had no choice in the matter."

Despite his deportation, ABC News said McAfee has not been charged with committing a crime in Guatemala or Belize.

"It was the most gracious expulsion I've ever experienced," he commented, again on his blog. "Compared to my past two wives that expelled me this isn't a terrible trip."

McAfee said he is seeking a visa for his 20-year-old Belizean girlfriend, Samantha Vanegas.
