Bomb attacks across Iraq today killed at least 25 people, according to the Associated Press

The explosions struck predominantly ethnically mixed areas, said BBC News

A blast in a village near Mosul northwest of Baghdad, home to minority Shabaks, killed seven people, said BBC, describing it as the "deadliest" attack. 

Shiite pilgrims were also killed near the town of Samarra north of the capital, said AP

Today's attacks follow a series of explosions Sunday that killed five people in the country's mainly Kurdish city of Kirkuk.
