A mother and two of her children were shot to death Wednesday morning in a possible murder-suicide at a Denver home.
CBS Denver named the deceased as Nevaeh and Eric, and their mother, Mayra Perez, and reported that they were found dead in the 4900 block of Pearl Street, North Denver.
KDVR gave their ages as Nevaeh (spelled Niveahh) 6, and Eric, 2, and ran a photo of all four.
The children's sister, Isabelle, 3, survived but was rushed to the Denver Health Medical Center and was in critical condition after surgery on Wednesday.
While they have not revealed a motive, Denver Police confirmed that the incident was a murder-suicide involving the mother and her children, according to KDVR.
According to GoSanAngelo.com, the bodies were found in a house in an industrial area near the National Western Stock Show complex, surrounded by warehouses and near a trucking terminal.
The website quoted a neighbor Debbie Martinez as saying a family of five — two adults and three children — moved in about six months ago, and:
"They seem like outgoing people. They didn’t bother anybody."
McArthur Mitchell and Joann Cobb said the family seemed happy and took walks with a dog.
"They were friendly. We didn’t hear them fighting."
Cobb said the man left for work Wednesday morning before police swarmed the home.
