Cameron Diaz: ‘Women want to be objectified’

Cameron Diaz, one of the Hollywood's most successful actresses, told the UK's Sunday Times that being sexy is "empowering."
"I think every woman does want to be objectified," Diaz told the Sunday Times. "There's a little part of you at all times that hopes to be somewhat objectified, and I think it's healthy."

The comments garnered some eye-rolls and mockery from mainstream media outlet E! News online, which wrote "we guess the remarks aren't too surprising coming from the model-turned-actress whose biggest roles include such women-objectifying flicks as Charlie's Angels, There's Something About Mary and Bad Teacher."
Diaz added, much to our chagrin, that she doesn't have a problem taking off her clothes for the camera.
"I'm a woman, I know how to handle myself," Diaz remarked. "I know what I feel comfortable doing and I know my sexuality."
"You got to be really smart to play this dumb," she told the Times, proudly.
