Argentina double-decker bus crash kills at least 10
At least 10 people, including two children, were killed and more than 50 injured on April 6, 2012, when a double-decker bus veered off a cliff in Argentina.
At least 10 people, including two young children, were killed and another 50 injured Friday night when the driver of double-decker bus traveling from Bolivia to Argentina lost control of the vehicle and veered off a cliff.
Reports of fatalities varied, although officials in the northern Argentine province of Jujuy, which borders Bolivia, said 34 people were still in hospital Saturday — five of them in a critical condition, The Telegraph reported.

Police said two girls, ages 6 and 6 months, were among the dead, according to The Telegraph.
Argentine news agency Infobae reported the passengers included 55 Bolivians, three Peruvians, three people from France, two Germans, a Panamanian, a Spaniard and one from Britain.

The bus belonged to Bolivian company Potosi, CNN reported.
According to a preliminary investigation, the bus driver was speeding on a dangerous sector of road at the time of the crash, RIA Novosti reported.
