Angelina Jolie’s youngest, Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, to appear in ‘Maleficent’

Angelina Jolie's 4-year-old daughter with Brad Pitt, Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, is to make her movie debut alongside her mother in "Maleficent," Disney has reportedly confirmed.

The New York Daily News reported that Vivienne — the couple's youngest daughter and a twin to brother Knox — will play a "minor role" in the film, derived from the classic tale of Sleeping Beauty.

While Jolie plays the title character of Maleficent, Vivienne's cameo is as the child version of Princess Aurora, who is cursed to sleep until awoken by kiss from a handsome prince.

That character is being played by Elle Fanning.

"Angelina Jolie's daughter Vivienne will play a minor role as the child version of Princess Aurora opposite her mother in 'Maleficent,'" Reuters cited Disney as saying in a statement.

"The live-action film explores the origins of Disney's most iconic villain, Maleficent, and what led her to curse Princess Aurora."

"Ange thought it would be a fun experience for her and Viv to share, and Viv is a natural," a source told Britain’s The Sun newspaper. "The other kids are now nagging Ange and Brad to land them roles."

Production on "Maleficent" began in London in June, with the film set to hit theaters in March of 2014, the Associated Press wrote.
