2 NATO service members killed in Afghanistan

NATO said two of its service members were killed today in eastern Afghanistan, reported the Associated Press

The news comes a day after the military coalition released a statement saying insurgent attacks in the country have increased by 11 percent over the last three months, with June seeing more attacks since 2010, reported Britain's The Independent

Most of the troops stationed in Afghanistan's east are American, according to AP

NATO did not provide more details about today's attack, but the deaths bring the number of international service members killed in the country this month to 42, said AP.
