Another Whitney replica… This wax figure of late singer is unveiled at Madame Tussauds in New York, February 7, 2013.
A woman who refused to stop singing Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You" during a flight from Los Angeles to New York forced the flight down and was removed for being disruptive.
American Airlines flight number 4 was diverted to Kansas City because of a "very unruly passenger."
Kansas City Airport spokesman Joe McBride told KCTV:
"The woman was being disruptive and was removed from the plane for interfering with the flight crew. There was a federal air marshall on the aircraft, who subdued the woman and put her in cuffs."
It has since emerged that the woman refused to stop singing Houston's 1992 cover of the Dolly Parton song, which featured in "The Bodyguard."
Crew and fellow passengers evidently could take no more.
Video posted on YouTube (below) showed her refusing to stop singing, even when she was being dragged off the plane.
The flight left LAX at 3:30 p.m. and was scheduled to land at JFK International Airport.
American Airlines told ABC News:
"A federal Air Marshall on the flight restrained, cuffed and detained the passenger. The captain declared an emergency and diverted to Kansas City. Police met the flight and took the woman into custody. The plane was refuelled and continued to JFK – landing with less than an hour delay."
