Watch how Chilean fans reacted when FIFA cut their national anthem short

Chile knocked defending champions Spain out of the World Cup yesterday. But that wasn't the only awesome thing that happened.

FIFA has a rule, stupid or not, that national anthems must be limited to 90 seconds before matches. The Chilean national anthem is more than 90 seconds. When the music stopped, Chile's fans — who'd traveled to Rio in such large numbers that Chile v. Spain may as well have been taking place in Santiago — finished the anthem in glorious, thundering fashion.

The players were obviously moved. Clearly they were motivated, too. They went on to beat Spain 2-0.
