Supporters and opponents of same-sex marriage met outside the Supreme Court on Tuesday, as America's highest court heard arguments on the challenge to California's voter-approved ban on same-sex marriage.

The case in question that's challenging Proposition 8 was brought by Kristin Perry and Sandra Stier, and Paul Katami and Jeffrey Zarrillo, both couples seeking the right to marry.
