The Ted Cruz/John Lennon mashup you never knew you wanted

Sen. Ted Cruz sounded a lot like John Lennon on Monday when he announced he would seek the 2016 Republican nomination for president.
Cruz used the word "imagine" more than 30 times during his address. So we mashed his speech up with Lennon's "Imagine." You're welcome.
"Imagine how instead of economic stagnation — Boom! — think how different the world would be,'' Cruz says, to John Lennon's piano accompaniment. "Standing together to stand together,'' Cruz adds, ''for liberty.''
You might say I'm a dreamer, but for for some reason this mashup of Lennon reminds me of the movie "Bob Roberts,'' in which a guitar-playing conservative politician (played by Tim Robbins) gave an update of/homage to Bob Dylan's ''Subterranean Homesick Blues.'' This video, though, also has a touch of Robert Palmer's "Addicted To Love.''
Perhaps the times they are a changin' … back.
