For a listener from Lubbock, Texas, the best gift he’s ever received was “a rock.” He continues, “My girlfriend was scuba diving and picked it up from the bottom of the ocean. It meant that, even when she was in another world, she was thinking of me.”
Maggie, a listener from Miami, called to tell us about a gift her parents gave her. “My parents had me believe that loans were my only way through university,” she explains, “so I worked as hard as I could for scholarships.
