Why has neither side in Libya been able to win the war yet? Both the pro-Gaddafi and anti-Gaddafi forces seem to be waging a war of attrition, with both sides finding it all but impossible to make much progress. The nearest the anti-Gaddafi fighters have got to the capital, Tripoli, is the Nafusa Mountains in the west of the country. The BBC’s Mark Doyle is there, and reports on the battle.
