Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Tuesday that ties between the U.S. and Israel remain strong, noting “we don’t agree with any of our international partners on everything.”
Ilan Peleg is a scholar at the Middle East Institute and the Charles A. Dana Professor of Law and Government at Lafayette College. He says that there is a current rift in U.S./Israel relations, but that there is a historical precedent for disagreements between the two countries.
