Social entrepreneur Blake Mycoskie, a one-time contestant on the hit TV show The Amazing Race, talks to Faith about his new company TOMS Shoes and his attempt to put shoes on the feet of poor children.
Blake Mycoskie was a contestant on TV’s Amazing Race, season two. He lost by a hair, I’m told. But that’s just one small adventure in his marvelously adventure-filled life. In 2006, he travelled to Argentina – to play polo, don’t ya know. He saw so many poor kids were running around without shoes that he became social entrepreneur who sells shoes here to put shoes on the feet of kids there. Blake Mycoskie speaks with Faith Salie on Fair Game.
