The Recovered Voices movement strives to disseminate the works of composers persecuted by authoritarian regimes, especially the Nazis. It is an international movement with musicians and academics in both the US and Europe unearthing scores by composers deemed degenerate by the Third Reich, or imprisoned by Stalin.
