Saudi Arabia has been pouring billions of dollars into the electric vehicle industry in the past few years. It has even been working on its own brand of EV called Ceer. Just this month, Tesla began selling in the kingdom for the first time. All this is part of a push by the crown prince to lower the country’s reliance on oil revenues.
