Japanese community center puts its own spin on the Pokémon card concept

Pokémon trading cards have been popular worldwide since the mid-’90s. Now, in an effort to help young people connect with older generations, a town in Japan’s Fukuoka Prefecture has created trading cards depicting real, local heroes instead of fictional ones.
