The four have been ordered to leave the country by April 21 or face forcible deportation. Berlin’s interior ministry said the order was issued in connection with a university protest last October. A lawyer for the group said the case bears a striking similarity to that of  Mahmoud Khalil, the Syrian-born Columbia University graduate who is being threatened with deportation for taking part in pro-Palestinian demonstrations in the US.
