World’s longest underwater tunnel under construction in the Baltic Sea

Travelers will someday be able to get in a car and drive from Germany to Denmark and back — through the Baltic Sea. That’s thanks to the Fehmarn Belt Link, now under construction. Developers say it will fundamentally reshape travel in the European Union by drastically cutting commute times. But some question whether the benefits justify the risks.
