The ceasefire between the Kurdistan Workers Party, or the PKK, and Turkey doesn’t just affect that country. It could have widespread effects also on Iraq and Syria. Kurdish Leaders and Kurds in those three countries explain what it means to no longer have this “Sword of Ankara” hanging over their heads. The World visited Sur, in the Diyarbakır Province of Turkey.
