Ecuador held the first round of its presidential election on Sunday. Out of a field of 16 candidates, two emerged as favorites: incumbent president Daniel Noboa and leftist lawyer Luisa Gonzales. The two previously faced each other in a snap election in 2023, which Noboa won. Host Marco Werman has more.
