In Norway, the government said this year’s salmon fishing season would be the most restricted ever. That’s because the wild salmon population is in serious decline. That’s partly because of salmon farming, and partly due to climate change. The World’s Marco Werman discusses the situation with Knut Wiik Vollset, a member of the Norwegian Scientific Advisory Committee for Atlantic Salmon.
