Femicide is “a crime of murder perpetrated by a man against a woman in the context of gender violence”. That’s the current legal definition in Argentina, where it’s been part of the country’s penal code since 2012. Now, President Javier Milei says he is going to get rid of it because, “Equality before the law already exists in the West.
