US President-elect Donald Trump’s pledge on Monday night to slap big tariffs on the United States’ three largest trading partners — Mexico, Canada and China — was a jolt to the global economy.  Mexico’s president has warned the tariffs could backfire for Washington, sparking inflation and job losses. Former Mexican Ambassador to the US Arturo Sarukhán talks with The World’s Host Carolyn Beeler about the potential repercussions.
