Brazil’s federal police have passed a sealed indictment against former President Jair Bolsonaro and various aides and allies of his to the country’s Supreme Court. The charges are directed at Bolsonaro’s alleged attempt to retain control of the presidency after losing the country’s general election in 2022. It’s being charged as a coup attempt.
