Philly cheesesteak is big in Japan

The World

In his youth, Kosuke Chujo was obsessed with Nikes, Levi’s and the Philadelphia Sound, and he’s turned his passion for all things Philly into a lifelong business: he runs a Philly-style cheesesteak shop in Tokyo, and makes occasional pilgrimages to Philly to taste-test steaks there. Host Carolyn Beeler sits down with Chujo at his shop to ask him about his obsession with all things Philly.
