Maria Fernanda Gonzalez, better known as Mafer Bandola, is a master musician from Venezuela who arrived in New York City in 2017. As part of our series from the podcast Movement, about migration and music, Meklit Hadero talks to Bandola about how she developed community and has helped her fellow Venezuelans.
