Typhoon Gaemi pounds the Philippines and Taiwan with heavy rains

Typhoon Gaemi is one of the strongest typhoons to affect the Asia–Pacific region in nearly a decade. The storm sparked massive evacuations in the Philippines, and left flooding and landslides in its wake.
