Earliest Category 4 Atlantic hurricane ever recorded is headed through the Caribbean

The earliest Category 4 Atlantic hurricane ever recorded is headed through the Caribbean right now. So far, it’s charted a path that is unusually far south. It is hitting Grenada on Monday. That’s rare. The high winds in its swirling arms are hitting Barbados and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. There will be a big ocean swell too. Ministers for the government of Barbados are in the Emergency Operations Center right now. Kathy-Ann Caeser, a meteorologist at the Caribbean Institute for Meteorology and Hydrology in Barbados, tells us more.
