Wild horses reintroduced to Kazakhstan’s steppe region

About two centuries ago, wild horses disappeared from the steppe region of Kazakhstan. But now, through the efforts of two European zoos, the wild horses are being reintroduced back to the region. Host Marco Werman speaks with Filip Masek, a spokesperson for the Prague Zoo, about the zoo’s involvement in the effort to bring back wild horses to Kazakhstan and how they’re expected to transition to their former home.
