A heat sensor in Delhi recorded 127 degrees Fahrenheit recently. Turned out the reading was off, but it still might have broken the historical record for the city. And the results have been lethal. The heat has killed at least 56 people according to the federal government, including election officials overseeing the polls in the world’s largest democracy.
