Shohei Ohtani’s former interpreter to plead guilty to bank fraud

In March, Dodgers pitcher Shohei Ohtani’s longtime interpreter and close friend Ippei Mizhura was accused of massive theft from the Japanese star. Prosecutors claim Mizhura stole nearly $17 million from Ohtani to pay off gambling debts and purchase personal items. Now, Mizuhara has agreed to plead guilty.
