Monday afternoon, Hamas said it was ready to accept a ceasefire proposal from Egyptian and Qatari mediators. By Monday evening, there were reports of Israeli air strikes in Rafah, where more than a million Palestinians have been seeking safety. Host Marco Werman speaks with The World’s Matthew Bell about the latest on the ceasefire negotiations and what’s playing out in the southern Gaza Strip.
