Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) withdraws from parts of southern Gaza in preparation for attack on Rafah

Israel is still planning to attack the southern Gaza city of Rafah, which is on the border with Egypt. It’s where nearly half of Gaza’s 2.3 million residents have been pushed to take shelter as Israel continues to strike hard against Hamas. The international community, including the US, has warned that such an attack could be deadly for the civilians. Host Marco Werman sat down with IDF spokesperson Lt. Col. Peter Lerner in his offices in Tel Aviv to ask about Israel’s military plans going forward.
