World leaders commit to methane cuts and halting deforestation

On the second day that world leaders met at the UN climate summit in Glasgow, Scotland, more than a hundred countries signed on to two different voluntary pledges aimed at combating climate change. The Global Methane pledge aims to cut emissions of methane, the potent but short-lived greenhouse gas, 30% by 2030. And a pact on deforestation aims to halt deforestation by the same year.
