Across the border from Texas, there are thousands of Haitians massed at the Mexican border hoping to claim asylum in the US. But current US immigration policy looks at the two groups very differently. Marco Werman speaks with Krish O’Mara Vignarajah, president of the Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service, one of the nine agencies involved in resettling Afghan refugees across the United States.
